The tiny ranching communities of Cannonville, Henrieville and Tropic make up the area known as Bryce Valley. Surrounding Bryce Canyon National Park, Bryce Valley falls within the borders of both Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument and Dixie National Forest, and is part of the Paria River Valley region.

Just a few miles southeast of Tropic on Scenic Byway 12, Cannonville sits amid breathtaking scenery.
Together with Tropic and Henrieville, Cannonville is part of the scenic Bryce Valley. The three ranching
communities lie along Scenic Byway 12, Utah’s first all-American Road. Cannonville borders Grand
Staircase Escalante National Monument and Dixie national Forest, and offers convenient access to the
intriguing hoodoos of Bryce Canyon National Park and Kodachrome Basin State Park’s colorful sandstone
formations.
