Garfield County is home to portions of three National Parks, three State Parks, National Scenic Byway 12- Utah’s All-American Road, Scenic Byway 143- Utah’s Patchwork Parkway, nearly 1.9 million acres of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, the Dixie National Forest, miles and miles of hiking, biking, horseback riding, ATV riding, fishing, canyoneering and several other soft adventures to high adventure activities and scenic wonders.

The Office of Tourism awards event funding to county-wide events and provides an opportunity for non-profit organizations and towns to apply for cooperative marketing funding. For more information on the application process, download the application or contact the office of tourism.

The Office of Tourism participates in both consumer shows and trade shows to help promote the area. Other media outlets for promotion include online marketing and print media. The office prints area brochures to help visitors plan trips to the area.
