Anasazi State Park Museum, Utah
Information
Visit the museum and partially excavated prehistoric Indian village at Anasazi State Park, located in the town of Boulder, Utah, on Scenic Byway 12.
Description
This ancient Indian village in the heart of Bryce Canyon Country was once home to one of the largest Anasazi communities west of the Colorado River. Archeologists believe the site was occupied from A.D. 1050 to 1200. The village remains largely unexcavated, but many artifacts have been uncovered and are on display in the newly remodeled museum.
Anasazi State Park is in the picturesque town of Boulder on State Route 12. Group and individual picnic areas are available. Magnolia's Food Truck is located at the Park. They serve breakfast and lunch from 9 am to 4 pm March through October. There is no available camping.
