Additional Information

All tokens will be placed within trail boundaries in the three state parks. Please do not leave paths as you participate in the hunt — no tokens will be hidden off the trails or located in areas that would risk the safety of participants or the wildlife. However, the trails where tokens are hidden may not be flat and the trials in these three parks can be moderately strenuous. Please pack plenty of food and water.

There are NO tokens hidden in campgrounds or camping areas.

Those participating must pay admission to the state parks; however, the event is free to all park visitors. On weekends the event is being held, the hunt will begin on Friday at 8:00 a.m. and end on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Tokens found in Kodachrome Basin State Park and the Anasazi State Park Museum must be redeemed by 4:30 p.m. on Saturday at the corresponding visitor center for that park. Tokens found in the Escalante Petrified Forest must be redeemed at "Nemo's" located in Escalante. All tokens must be redeemed the weekend they were found or the tokens will not be honored.

In order to participate in the event, visitors will be required to fill out a waiver, which can be found on the bottom of this page. This waiver will be submitted as part of registration. Rules for the contest can be found below.

In the case of inclement weather, the hunt will go on! Visitors are simply advised to use safety precautions and to be careful in their explorations. Enter at your own risk!

Additional details and clues for the treasure hunt will be posted on Bryce Canyon Country’s website as well as our various social media channels, which can be reached using the links below.
