Utah’s Scenic Byway 12 continues to garner accolades from publications that highlight this 120 mile long road as one of the best in America.  Country Magazine is the latest to single out Scenic Byway 12 as one of the best, placing it in a list with these other interesting scenic drives. • Blue Grass Valley Road in the Alleghenies • Door County, Wisc. Coastal Byway • Going-to-the-Sun Road in Montana’s Glacier National Park • Natchez Trace Parkway in Mississippi • Oregon Coast Highway
Scenic Byway 12

This road runs from Scenic Highway 89 on the south near Panguitch, Utah to Torrey, Utah on the north, connecting with Scenic Highway 24.   Along the way are options or views of two national parks; Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef, and three state parks; Kodachrome Basin, Petrified Forest, and Anasazi Museum, along with the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, Boulder Mountain and some very beautiful and quaint communities.
