Ride Our Elevated Trails

Bryce Canyon Country is crisscrossed with extensive ATV/OHV trails that stretch for miles, weaving through the Dixie National Forest and across the vast expanse of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. These trails traverse breathtaking landscapes, offering riders unparalleled views of the terrain.

OHV Trails

Yankee Meadows Ride

The Yankee Meadows Ride takes you along the South Shore of Panguitch Lake, heading towards Clear Creek Road and culminating at the Yankee Reservoir Overlook. This scenic journey is adorned with dense forests, winding switchbacks, and eventually opens up to the stunning vistas of Bryce Canyon Country’s distinctive red rock scenery. Yankee Reservoir serves as an ideal pause to enjoy the view, stretch, and use the available facilities. Continue on the Yankee Meadows trail for an additional mile to discover an open meadow that’s perfect for a picnic.

Bull Rush Loop

The Bull Rush Loop offers a remarkably picturesque journey through dense forests and across hills blanketed in sagebrush. This demanding path includes some extremely tight sections and a steep, rocky drop into a dry wash. The peak of Bull Rush rises to an elevation of 6,380 feet.

Casto Canyon / Limekiln Loop

Spend a full day exploring the scenic trails on a 90-mile ATV ride along the Casto Canyon / Limekiln Loop. This loop starts and finishes in Panguitch, weaving through Casto Canyon and connecting with the Fremont Trail at Circleville, which serves as an ideal midpoint stop. We suggest pausing for lunch at the Butch Cassidy Restaurant in Circleville. The journey offers spectacular mountain vistas, and the red rock landscapes within Casto Canyon rival those found in Bryce Canyon National Park. As you gain elevation, the vegetation shifts from pinyon pine and juniper to stands of Ponderosa pine, Douglas fir, and aspen, making for excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. The loop’s return leg meanders through Dog Valley, crosses Highway 89, and follows Sandford Creek back to Panguitch.

Pansaugunt ATV Trail

Spanning 25-30 miles of wild terrain, the Pansaugunt ATV trail offers enthusiasts a vast desert landscape for exploration. Situated in the Powell Ranger District of the National Park, this trail is celebrated for its majestic red rock views that extend throughout the Dixie National Forest.

Fremont ATV Trail

Navigate the winding, dusty paths of Fremont and journey through the dense, shadowy desert woodlands, meandering among the stunning red rock formations, towering plateaus, and iconic western landscapes. Tranquil and teeming with unique wildlife, this trail promises adventurers an unparalleled experience of desert solitude.

Pine Lake OHV Trail

The Pine Lake OHV Trail forms a 10,000-foot circuit beginning at Pine Lake, extending to Powell Point, weaving through Pole Canyon, and then circling back. It embodies the quintessential backroad spirit of Utah’s canyonlands, ranking as one of the premier ATV trails in Bryce Canyon Country.

Venturing into the off-road mysteries of Bryce Canyon allows you to breathe in the arid scents of pine and sagebrush while soaking in the vast, open skies and captivating desert sunsets. With some luck, you might catch sight of Peregrine Falcons, Rocky Mountain Elks, or Pronghorns, which often traverse the wooded plateaus and deserted natural amphitheaters.

Powell Point

Nestled just 23 miles northeast of Bryce Canyon National Park and bursting with mesmerizing vistas, Powell Point stands as Southern Utah’s hidden gem. It crowns the southern edge of the Table Cliff Plateau, offering more than just a typical scenic viewpoint; it presents a vast panorama of Southern Utah’s most renowned landmarks. The vantage from Powell Point sweeps over the Grand Staircase, traverses the imposing Gray and White Cliffs, and spans the desert expanses, tapering off into the enigmatic reaches of the Grand Canyon. From a distance, Powell Point evokes the image of a ship’s bow cutting through tumultuous waves, a stark and powerful silhouette against the landscape.
