Garfield County is home to the Paunsaugunt Plateau, known for the iconic orange hoodoos. These beautiful hoodoos are found nowhere else in the world, but they are found on the entire circumference of this plateau. The western edge is managed by the US Forest Service and is where you will be running.
Bryce Canyon Ultras is the most difficult terrain we have in our series. 100 mile runners will discover that somehow the course goes uphill both ways between Proctor Canyon and Blubber Creek. In short, this can break you, or it can show how strong you really are.
