Bryce Canyon City is the closest town to the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park. Incorporated in July 2007, Bryce Canyon City is home to just 138 year-round residents yet hosts thousands of visitors between April and October. This gateway town nestles in the midst of stunning natural splendor, from the mysterious hoodoos of Bryce Canyon National Park to the unique rock formations of nearby Red Canyon and the colorful sand pipes of Kodachrome Basin State Park. At an elevation of 7,586 feet, Bryce Canyon City offers pleasant summer temperatures and snowy winters perfect for year-round outdoor recreation.
Getting there
Bryce Canyon City is located along Scenic Highway 12, making it accessible and convenient for travelers. The town is the major stop outside Bryce Canyon National Park on the Bryce Canyon Shuttle route. Bryce Canyon City can also be reached via charter airline or private plane at Bryce Canyon Airport.

Antimony is ideally situated in Bryce Canyon Country to reach many of Utah's state and national parks within a few hours. In less than an hour you can reach Bryce Canyon National Park, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, Fremont Indian State Park and Escalante Petrified Forest State Park. Anasazi Indian Village State Park, Capitol Reef National Park and Cedar Breaks National Monument are all within a 90-minute drive from Antimony. Zion National Park can be reached in about two hours, and Lake Powell's Bullfrog Marina is just three hours from Antimony.
