Bryce Canyon City is the closest town to the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park. Incorporated in July 2007, Bryce Canyon City is home to just 138 year-round residents yet hosts thousands of visitors between April and October. This gateway town nestles in the midst of stunning natural splendor, from the mysterious hoodoos of Bryce Canyon National Park to the unique rock formations of nearby Red Canyon and the colorful sand pipes of Kodachrome Basin State Park. At an elevation of 7,586 feet, Bryce Canyon City offers pleasant summer temperatures and snowy winters perfect for year-round outdoor recreation.

Getting there
Bryce Canyon City is located along Scenic Highway 12, making it accessible and convenient for travelers. The town is the major stop outside Bryce Canyon National Park on the Bryce Canyon Shuttle route. Bryce Canyon City can also be reached via charter airline or private plane at Bryce Canyon Airport.

An aerial tour of scenic Bryce Canyon and the surrounding area is just one way to explore this spectacular region. Antimony is ideally situated in Bryce Canyon Country to reach many of Utah's state and national parks within a few hours. In less than an hour you can reach Bryce Canyon National Park, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, Fremont Indian State Park and Escalante Petrified Forest State Park. Anasazi Indian Village State Park, Capitol Reef National Park and Cedar Breaks National Monument are all within a 90-minute drive from Antimony. Zion National Park can be reached in about two hours, and Lake Powell's Bullfrog Marina is just three hours from Antimony.

Other lodging options include the 160-room Bryce View Lodge located across the highway from Ruby's Inn, the 164-room Best Western Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel, the Bryce Canyon Resort with 59 newly renovated rooms, the Bryce Canyon Pines Motel and Foster's Motel. Ruby's Inn, Bryce Canyon Pines, and Bryce Canyon Resort also have campgrounds with campsites, cabins, RV hookups, laundry, showers, grills, groceries and other amenities. For good eats, check out the Cowboy Buffet and Steak Room or the Canyon Diner, both open year-round and located on the grounds of Ruby's Inn, or wrangle up some old-fashioned western food and entertainment at Ebenezer's Barn and Grill. For those eager to see the sights, however, simply grab some western fare or pizza at the Canyon Diner/Piccadilly Pizza, open from April to October, or a sandwich to go at Subway.Bryce Canyon Town
