Plan Your Visit to...
Bryce Canyon Country

We want to say thank you for a great year in Bryce Canyon Country. It is nice to know that we are not the only ones who enjoy Bryce Canyon National Park, the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, and Scenic Byway 12 area.
As 2006 ends it is very important to note that an exciting 2007 will soon begin. Our landmarks are just as gorgeous, and you will still enjoy the chance to drive, hike, bike, ride horseback, ATV, camp, and many other recreational activities and events.

For instance, there is the annual Bryce Canyon Astronomy Festival that the national park hosts each June. This is a fun event for everyone, not just space enthusiasts, since the night sky here is spectacular as little light pollution muddies the view in our clean mountain air. Specially trained park rangers and volunteers will host stargazing sessions, telescope workshops, and other informative events.

Runners come to the area to compete in several races. There is a half marathon and 5K run in Bryce Canyon in July and a Bryce Canyon rim run and walk in August. Panguitch hosts several races in June as part of its Quilt Walk Festival.

Other fun events include a balloon festival in Panguitch each June, the Escalante Heritage Festival and Craft Fair in May, Bryce Canyon ATV Rally end of september, Escalante Canyons Working Arts Festival each October in the Escalante and Boulder area.

Hopefully, you are just as excited for 2007 as we are. Be sure to visit our website www.BryceCanyonCountry.com throughout the year for more information about area events.
